At Bickford, we can't "make" someone happy. But we can create an environment that optimizes their opportunities to choose happiness and adds a richness to their lives. We do this primarily through our care-giving approach. Whether we are assisting them with their morning toiletries, taking time to listen to them during an emotional moment or throwing a birthday party for the party-lover, we seek to connect with everyone in ways that are uniquely tailored for them. It becomes essential for us to know who they are—not because we have to but because we want to.

Yet there exists an element, a commonality among us on this journey.
