Our Vision

We at Eastland Retirement Community understand that seniors want choice, dignity, and privacy in their lives.
Even though no retirement community can ever totally replace the comfort one’s home, Eastland strives to be the next best thing by providing the elderly the high-quality, hands-on care and concern that family members would provide.

Our Mission

Our commitment is to promote the availability of appropriate services for residents in a homelike environment that enhances the dignity, independence, individuality, privacy, and growth opportunities through a supportive team approach.

Visit Auburn in the spring and you will realize why it is known as The Redbud City. Ablaze in the reds and pinks of a multitude of flowering redbud trees, Auburn virtually glows with small-town charm.

The origins of the “Redbud City” nickname go back to a 1961 beautification program started by the former mayor, Dr. Kenneth Malmberg. The trees were transported into the city from southern Illinois and purchased by the townspeople, who planted them alongside the city streets. Since redbud trees are slow growing, we are enjoying the foresight of those who planted the trees more than 40 years ago.
Redbud

Only minutes from the state capital of Springfield and the Lincoln sites, Auburn is keenly aware of its place in history. The city can trace its roots back to the earliest settlers in Sangamon County and all of Illinois.

As much as Auburn relishes its ties to the past, its eyes are to the future. Infrastructure improvements are leading the way for growth in commercial, industrial and residential ventures.

An excellent school district, good business climate, moderately priced housing, golf and other recreational facilities give Auburn certain advantages while maintaining its small-town appeal.

Located at the crossroads of Illinois highways 104 and 4 and minutes away from Interstate 55 (just one and a half hours from St. Louis), Auburn is easily accessible.

Whether for business or pleasure, Auburn is a great place to visit. You'll quickly understand why residents say: Auburn's not just any place. Auburn is our home.

All the best in retirement living is right here, waiting for you. An active, independent lifestyle, carefree surroundings, a warm welcome into a close-knit resident family—all without the burdens of home ownership. Rent for as long or as short as you want.
