Evenglow is a continuum of care retirement community affiliated with the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of the United Methodist Church serving residents of all faiths. Accreditation
Evenglow has been accredited by the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries’ EAGLE (Education Assessment Guidelines Leading toward Excellence) program since 1991. Accreditation verifies our commitment to provide the highest quality of programs, services and facilities to our residents and their families. It also testifies to Evenglow’s financial strength, profession management and sound governance practices.
Evenglow has also received The Life Safety Network Seal of Confidence

Evenglow offers several types of Independent Living facilities and services that enable a person to enjoy comfort, privacy, and security without the work and worry of house ownership or rent.

Whether living in the Skyline apartments or apartments in “Lifestyle by Design” the support of Evenglow staff enables a person to be truly independent of those things in life that take the joy out of retirement like shoveling snow or fixing appliances.

Skyline offers fully independent living in unique and spacious one and two bedroom apartments with options to own or lease.

Lifestyle by Design offers beautiful one room and two room apartments with optional services.

Health Care Services
The purpose all Evenglow facilities and services is to maintain independence and wellness. This is accomplished through health programs and supportive services. Residents of Evenglow benefit from many health care programs and services available on campus should their needs change.

Services and programs include programs to maintain balance and strength, rehabilitation services, a memory support center, a health center, nutrition support and consultation, social programs, activities and outings, and spiritual care
