Our Services

The Hopedale Medical Complex started as a 20-bed hospital in 1955 and has grown into a unique state-of-the-art health care facility offering a continuum of care services, including a modern acute care hospital, nursing home, independent and assisted living as well as a large (34,000 sq feet) Wellness Center. Nowhere in the United States can one find such a wide array of quality health care services and physicians in one peaceful, country location. For the convenience of the elderly and handicapped, all services are provided on one level or are easily accessible by elevator.

The Hopedale Hospital offers virtually the same services as larger, urban hospitals, including a 24-hour emergency room, ICU, general and advanced vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic/reconstructive surgery, Open MRI and a state-of-the-art Siemens CT Scanner capable of doing full body/heart scans and virtual colonoscopy. Hopedale Medical Complex also offers physician services through four satellite offices in Altanta, Delavan, Manito and Mackinaw (see Office Locations).

Hopedale Commons is a beautiful independent and assisted living facility totaling 88 units. The Commons is conveniently located next door to the hospital, nursing home; physician offices and wellness center making it a perfect location for the elderly who prefer to live close to quality medical care (see Tour). Hopedale Commons West is assisted living offering 24 services for a very modest monthly charge. There are no long term contracts or leases and no deposits required.

Hopedale Nursing Home includes 43 rooms, 26 private and is a licensed facility offering 24-hour nursing care. It is physically connected to Hopedale Hospital and to Physicians' offices by a common corridor for the convenience of our residents and their families. A 26 room addition was added to the Hopedale Nursing Home in fall of 2000 offering beautiful private accommodations. This addition was named the "Hillman Pavilion" in memory of Elmer and Viola Hillman, who made a financial contribution towards the construction.

Hopedale Wellness Center, which opened July 4, 2002, is a spectacular facility containing an indoor gym, walking track, three therapy pools (including 75 foot lap pool) large cardiovascular area featuring Star Trac and Nautilus Nitro equipment, locker rooms, day care, and conference room. The Wellness Center is the home of the physical therapy department and has on its staff experienced physical therapists, exercise physiologists, personal trainers, a full-time massage therapist, chiropractor, pain specialist (anesthesiologist), acupuncturist, physiatrist, and a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in general and sports medicine. It offers a large array of services including water aerobics, aquatics therapy, yoga, Pilates, child and adult karate, free day care, and the new Hopedale Sports Medicine department.

What started as a small hospital has grown to a world-class medical complex.
