About the Company
Burt Sheltered Care is a twenty-nine bed state liciensed shelter care facillity providing supervision, over-sight, and personal care to disabled adults. The majority of the population is developmentally disabled and'or mentally ill. Our present residents range in age from twenty seven years to seventy four years of age. There are a number of residents who have made the facility their home for over twenty years.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of those people with developmental disabilities and'or mental illiness by advancing their independence in as personalized a setting as possible while using any available community resource.
